An option strategy builder with payoff, breakevens and margin

Twenty-eight ready-made strategies or your own legs, with maximum profit, maximum loss and estimated margin recomputed on every click.

Pick a strategy, or build your own

Spreads, condors, butterflies, straddles, strangles and the rest: 28 pre-built option strategies, each one a starting point rather than a prescription. Or build a basket a leg at a time. Strikes are picked from the option chain and the position assembles itself, so the gap between an idea and its payoff curve is a few clicks.

The payoff curve answers the first three questions

Where do I break even, what is the most I can make, and what is the most I can lose. The curve redraws as you change a leg, with breakeven markers and the risk-reward ratio recomputed every time. Positions net their Greeks too, so a basket that was meant to be market-neutral and is not gets caught before it costs anything.

Margin before you commit

The estimated margin updates with every change. It is the number that decides whether a trade is affordable, and it is usually the last one anybody works out. It is an estimate and labelled as one; your broker's figure is the one that binds.

Time decay, drawn instead of described

Overlay the position valued at several dates between now and expiry, and the gaps between those lines are time decay made visible. The same position can then be taken into the simulator and replayed against a real past session, which is the closest thing to experience that costs nothing.

Questions people ask

What is an option strategy builder?

A tool that assembles multi-leg option positions and computes what matters before entry: the payoff at expiry, breakeven points, maximum profit and loss, net Greeks and an estimated margin. EzyOptions includes 28 ready-made strategies and supports fully custom legs.

Does the builder show margin for a strategy?

Yes. An estimated margin for the whole position updates as you add or change legs, so affordability is visible before you commit. It is an estimate for planning, clearly labelled as one, and your broker's requirement at order time is the figure that applies.

Can I save a strategy and come back to it?

Yes. A basket can be saved and reloaded later, compared against alternatives, taken into the simulator for a replay against a recorded session, or run through the backtester across historical sessions.
